The Wife, I don't know if you know this recipe or want to try it but I use this for any berry. The bigger your pan the thinner your crust: 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour (self rising) 1 cup milk Mix and pour over 1 cup butter and berries that are in the bottom of the pan. Bake until tooth pick or knife comes out clean (at the crust). And it is done. Usually takes about 35/40 minutes. Pour your butter over berries then your batter. It will all rise to the top. And I use lots of berries cause they go into the crust. I like this recipe cause it is easy, if you don't like it or don't want to try, that is ok! I understand!

He would be grinning from ear to ear, even with the sugar, as long as it was sitting in front of him.
